ABOUT US
SHF Association is a community project born from passion for superhero culture and from the energy of the fetish community within the LGBTQIA+ family.
We believe in the power of play, creativity and self-expression as tools to fight prejudice and to build connections across borders.
Since its creation, SHF has been bringing people together through events, performances and community initiatives that mix imagination, fetish culture and activism.
Our most important project is the International Superhero Fetish Contest, hosted every year at Darklands in Antwerp. What began as a playful experiment has grown into a recognized stage where members of the community can celebrate diversity, visibility and pride.
SHF Association is more than an event: it is a community that celebrates the right to be different, to feel strong in one’s identity, and to transform fantasies into collective strength.

SHF is an independent, fan-based project. Our costumes and shows are community creations inspired by superhero culture.
We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any comic book publishers, movie studios or trademark owners.

SHF Association is officially registered in France (RNA W751268337).
The association manages and promotes the International Superhero Fetish Contest and related community events.
All names, logos and formats linked to SHF remain the property of their creator. The association is authorized to use them, without any transfer of ownership.
